On the side B of the first cassette Hannah named the second reason why she killed herself. It is Alex Standall, a boy who goes to the same school as Hannah and is in the similar age as she is. He decides that Hannah has the "Best Ass in the Freshman Class". At first Hannah understands it as a joke, but she doesn´t like that everybody reduces her on her bottom. The maximum of her ager happend at the Blue Spot Liquor. There a guy, that also read the list, discommodes her.
Am I able to understand her Anger?
Yes I am able to understand her anger. Who´s hot/ who´s not lists are in general very stupid. Espeacially because Hannah knows that Alex just put her by reason of revenge on the list. It´s bad egough that everybody reduced her on her bottom, but that certain people meant that the list gave them the permission to treat Hannah in a inappropiate way is horrible. Just the thaught that something like this would happen to me let me shiver. But at least it wouldn´t be a reason to kill myself like Hannah did but she had to deal with a combination of bad circumstances that didn´t let her see another way out.
But should the side B of the first cassette really be attended to Alex Standall?
In my opinion it´s not the fault of Alex that the guy treated Hannah in a inappropiate way. Of course the situation might not have happened if the list had not been written, but everybody has to know for himself, wether he or she wants to believe in that piece of paper. Like Hannah said on the tape: it was a revenge. But a revenge for what? I think Hannah should have attended the story to the Boy in the Liquor store.
I hope you enjoyed reading my very first post on my blog.

Hey Ela!
AntwortenLöschenI really like your Blogpost because you named all the important things and the structure of your text is also very good. I can understand your opinion and the reasons are also very good.
I find the blog post very well Ela because you have written detailed. I find the blog post clearly too because you have divided the texts into sections.
AntwortenLöschenDear Ela,
AntwortenLöschenI enjoy reading your first post in the blog. Your thoughts are well-structured and you give reasons for your line of thought.
A few hints on language:
- Unlike in German (eine Schule besuchen), in Englisch you don't say you "visit" a school. You "go to" the same school or attend the same classes
- commas: In case of doubt, leave them out!
- passive voice: had not been written
- know FOR himself
Hey Ela!
